North Sandy has a nursery for infants, a preschool age Children's Church (2-4 years), an elementary age Children's Church (5-10 years) and a youth level program (11-18 years). Our hour long Children's Church (11-12pm) usually consists of a snack, a brief review of past Bible concepts, a new bible story or concept on the developmentally appropriate level, a followup related game/activity/craft, and a concluding prayer. At times there is 5-10 minutes remaining for free play that somehow connects to our lesson (ex. building Noah's ark with blocks and stuffed animals). The Youth level program involves laughing, loving and learning about God. Materials come from a variety of sources. We are also excited about Outreach programs in which we distribute Children Comfort Bags through the school districts and law enforcement agencies to help us better serve the children and their families in our area communities.
